Accreditation:

Transworld Accrediting Commision International (TACI)

Accreditation Defined

Accreditation is the act of certifying that an educational institution maintains suitable standards; the granting of approval to an institution of learning by an official review board after the school has met certain requirements. Specifically, accreditation is the review of a school’s course offerings and procedures by a group of its peers to certify that that school is meeting its own stated objectives and offering its students the education it promises them.

Our Accreditation with TACI (Transworld Accrediting Commission International)

At Christ College, our mission is to provide theological and practical training to those who are called to reached the world for Jesus Christ.  Our expectation is that each of our students grow in their relationship with God, fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and become disciple-makers themselves.  To protect the mission and vision of our school, we have selected an accrediting agency that places no restrictions on our specialized spirit-filled curricula, instructor qualifications, or practical training methods.

Transworld, providing prestigious Bible Colleges such as  Rhema Bible Training College (RBTC) in Tulsa, OK, is a federally recognized, non-profit church educational organization that has been regulating the Christian education community for over 30 years.  TACI oversees more than 140 member institutions including schools, seminaries, universities, colleges, and institutes both in the United States and internationally.  They provide documented evidence of compliance with standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty, and curriculum. TACI’s overall purpose is to promote academic excellence and accountability.

The US Department of Education
For those universities that seek Federal Government educational funding, accreditation by an agency recognized by the Department of Education is required.  Because we don't believe in student loans or debt for a theological education, Christ College has not applied for any accreditation that would be recognized by the US Department of Education, nor would it qualify for such accreditation due to its non-traditional status.
